3rd Quarter, 2022, Corn Allergy Statistics
In one corn allergy group of 12,467 members, the growth in membership represents a 1,146.7% increase in corn allergies in the last 111 months with an average of 103.3 new members/month.

Guidelines for reporting clinicians who administer corn sugar (dextrose/D-glucose)-containing IV fluids to corn-allergic patients in direct violation of the contraindication warning in the package insert.

Administering corn sugar (dextrose/D-glucose)-containing IV fluids to a corn-allergic patient is equivalent to administering penicillin to a patient with an allergy to penicillin. This critical medical error is subject to reporting and disclosure.

If a clinician tells a corn-allergic patient that "Dextrose is naturally present in your body," REPORT THEM TO THEIR STATE MEDICAL BOARD. Dextrose is corn sugar produced from cornstarch/D-glucose, 21CFR184.1857, that can prove FATAL to corn-allergic patients.

"Dextrose-containing solutions pose a significant risk to patients allergic to corn. Dextrose used for IV fluids is prepared by the simple hydrolysis of cornstarch."

The European Medicines Agency also confirms dextrose is ONLY derived from corn.
"Dextrose a sugar that is obtained from corn starch"
"Dextrans come from corn and potato starch; dextrose comes from corn."

Wikipedia is intentionally endangering the lives of corn-allergic citizens; e.g. if you reference "dextrose" (corn sugar produced from cornstarch/D-glucose), you will be redirected to "glucose" (blood sugar). Dextrose (corn sugar/D-glucose) is NOT naturally present in humans.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glucose

Cargill ("Member Company" of the Corn Refiners Assn) is intentionally endangering the lives of corn-allergic citizens. Cargill knows for a fact that dextrose is only produced from cornstarch (not wheat), and that it is impossible for dextrose (corn sugar produced from cornstarch/D-glucose) to be naturally present in humans, fruits, honey, etc. Dextrose does not occur widely in nature.

False claim:
"Dextrose is a sugar occurring widely in nature – in honey and many fruits for example. As a constituent of cellulose, starch and glycogen, it is found in all plants and animals and is also known as ‘grape sugar’ or ‘blood sugar."

Correct statement on their website which contradicts their false claim:
"Dextrose is a synonym of D-glucose and . . . obtained after a total hydrolysis of corn starch."
https://www.cargill.com/food-bev/emea/sweeteners/c-dex-dextrose

Over a period of many decades, the "D-" modifier has been shortened to "glucose" for convenience purposes, which is why clinicians/academics are erroneously claiming that "Dextrose is naturally present in humans." Dextrose (corn sugar/D-glucose) can PROVE FATAL to anyone with an IgE-mediated allergy to corn.

“Dextrose is an ALL-American sugar, derived from American corn, refined in American factories, distributed by American companies.”
FACT: Dextrose can prove FATAL to anyone w/an IgE-mediated allergy to corn.
