Liquid I.V.
"What is an
Oral Rehydration Solution?
Liquid
I.V.’s Hydration Multiplier® products are classified as an Oral Rehydration
Solution (ORS), a globally recognized science used by several organizations
including the National Institute of Health. ORS is used to stimulate fluid
absorption and counteract the effects of dehydration through a balanced mixture of glucose and electrolytes in water."
REBUTTAL
AND FACTS:
This product
is a glucose (blood sugar)-elevating agent that can adversely affect consumers
with diabetes. It can also prove fatal
to consumers with an IgE-mediated allergy to corn; e.g., dextrose is the
chemical name for cornstarch sugar/D-glucose, 21CFR184.1857. Dextrose is utilized exclusively as a glucose
(blood sugar)-elevating agent in IV drips, which is why these IV drips are
contraindicated for administration to corn-allergic patients in the package
insert due to the presence of allergenic corn proteins. By claiming these
products contain "glucose" (natural blood sugar), they are falsely
claiming that dextrose (cornstarch sugar/D-glucose) is "naturally present
in every living organism and is essential for their survival."
Code of
Federal Regulation 21CFR184.1857 clearly identifies dextrose/D-glucose as
cornstarch sugar.
(a) Corn
sugar . . . commonly called D-glucose or dextrose, [emphasis added] . . .
It occurs as the anhydrous or the monohydrate form and is produced by the
complete hydrolysis of corn starch . . . [emphasis added].

Liquid
I.V. False Claim:
“. . . a
balanced mixture of glucose . . .”
Liquid I.V.
is claiming that glucose is a manufactured sugar. They should revise their statement to
read: ". . . a balanced mixture
of D-glucose (blood sugar)-elevating agent . . ."
Glucose is NOT
a manufactured sugar. Glucose is blood
sugar naturally present in every living organism essential for their
survival. Therefore, they are
leading consumers to believe that this product is "essential for their
survival."
What is
glucose?
Cornstarch
sugar (dextrose/D-glucose), 21CFR184.1857, is utilized as a glucose (blood
sugar)-elevating agent. They cannot be
"one and the same."
HOW DO
GLUCOSE-ELEVATING AGENTS WORK?, RxList
https://www.rxlist.com/glucose-elevating_agents/drug-class.htm
Liquid
I.V. is not aware of the critical, potentially life-threatening difference
between glucose (natural blood sugar) and D-glucose (synthetic,
laboratory-manufactured cornstarch sugar/dextrose), 21CFR184.1857.
CRITICAL: Synthetic formulations cannot be
declared "biochemically identical" to the natural counterpart when
the synthetic formulation can PROVE FATAL to humans.

Liquid
I.V.’s claim re: Allulose
"What
is allulose?
Allulose is
a rare, naturally occurring sweetener that has the same sweet taste and texture
one can expect from table sugar but does not raise blood glucose levels like
table sugar. It can naturally be found in foods including raisins, figs, and
maple syrup."

Allulose
Danger
Allulose
can PROVE FATAL to corn-allergic consumers.

Important: Allulose can also adversely affect diabetic
consumers, since this corn-derived sweetener can significantly raise glucose
(blood sugar) levels.

or Sleep Multiplier to help catch some Zs faster, our customers are from all
walks of life and activity levels. If you have a specific health concern,

This
disclaimer is worthless, since they are misrepresenting the source of
excipients in their products; e.g., they are falsely equating dextrose
(cornstarch sugar/D-glucose), 21CFR184.1857, with glucose (blood sugar naturally
present in every living organism essential for their survival).
Corn may be exempt
from public disclosure; however, they should clearly advise their products
should be avoided by diabetic consumers.
In addition, they should IMMEDIATELY CEASE equating dextrose
(cornstarch sugar/D-glucose) with glucose (natural blood sugar). This false claim should be classified
as "attempted genocide of corn-allergic consumers."
Dextrose
(cornstarch sugar/D-glucose, 21CFR184.1857) that is utilized as a glucose
(blood sugar elevating agent) is listed as an added ingredient in the following
products. Each of these products can
prove fatal to corn-allergic consumers [EXEMPT FROM PUBLIC DISCLOSURE]; however,
these products can adversely affect diabetic consumers, since D-glucose
(dextrose/cornstarch sugar) is a glucose (blood sugar)-elevating agent.
